ABOUT US

1egg1world started in January 2009 as a fund

raising initiative that would help prove that even the smallest things in this world could help to make a difference. 1egg1world is run by three funky chickens; Hot Box, Trevithick Dick, and Loco, with the simple goal of making a difference in this world.

MISSION STATEMENT

Okay so its not a new idea but what can you expect

we’re only chickens, after all ‘chicken brain’ isn’t

just a clever phrase. We will trade our egg for

something of greater human value and then continue

trading for bigger and better things until the item

+ donations will equate to the sum of $1 Million AUS

We plan to donate 100% of this money. 30% will be

given to Environmentally focused charity, 30% to

Poverty focused charity, and 30% to a Health focused charity. The remaining 10% will be

used to setup 1egg1world as a charity of its own.

Us chookens understand that when we reach the $1 Million we will become chicklebrities when we hit the million dollar target, and it would seem a waste if we could not use our new found fame for more good, so that is what we’ll do.

Im so hot right now! At least my friends think so! That’s why they named me after the term for an excessively hot axel bearing on a train! I also have a real hot box! Check out the pic, see for yourself! I’m not shy, I love to party and I love to dance.

I am the ENVIRONMENTAL & EVENTS AMBASSADOR of the group. I will focus on researching environmental charities and new and innovative technologies that will reduce the impact that we are having on this wonderful world. I will also be the organiser of fundraising events. Australia is very hot for us chickens and whilst I like it hot its getting a little too hot if you know what I mean, Its time we all learn to chill a bit.

I like beer but doing my bit choose only of the local variety to help reduce the energy needed in transportation. Cos some beer even comes all the way from Loco’s country in Mexico which he says 
is very far away. I believe we can all party just 
as hard at the same time as reducing our environmental impacts... we can even help the world while getting crazy!

I a craaazy chick! My friends say I’m a liddle loco! But I don mind! I like it so much, is my name now! And also is short for la locomotive! I love dem!

I am single too: I like guys who watch a lotta football and go out wid da boys, this is good thing! If I no get flowers, I no like “Oh poor me I no get flowers...” this is so silly. I no they sometimes to go to da striptease, but is ok, i no jealous... he can do whatever he wants, I mean, I don care :D

I was born in Mexico and experienced a lotta poverty and hardship when I was growing up. Around five years ago ma parents and I left the country and travelled across the world to Australia. With my new, prosperous life I have a desire to improve the lives for those living in poverty and hardship throughout the world. Australia is a country very much great, with so many smart and friendly 
people. Since arriving here , I have learnt a lot, 
particularly due to my friend Trevithick. Until arriving here I had very little education. I believe 
it is very important that everyone has a good education to help crack their full potential. Hence 
I am also de Ambassador of Poverty + 
Education.

I named myself after Richard Trevithick – the inventor of the worlds first railway locomotive. Although I felt myself unworthy to accept his full name, me and my friends came up with a clever alteration! Dick is short for Richard! We are so clever :D

I am known as the serious business man of the group, representing the group in important meetings. As a young lad I was a little weary of the outer world, I was known to keep lookout of our property by perching myself in an orange tree out the front. Since then, with the help of my fellow chickens, I have learnt to loosen up a little.

I now have a real passion for people. Everyone deserves to live a healthy and full life. I am the Health and Mental Health Ambassador of group. I explore new technologies in medicine and support research on Mental Illness. This latter interest is a special one because I have learnt a lot about a neighbour, Hubert, the duck. He use to annoy me because he’s a little challenged. Sometimes I think he thinks he’s a chicken like us, but he can’t fly and he bumps into everything. I have got to know him really well, and although the other chicks don’t think so, I think he can be a really nice 
guy!
